A Plant lover for 50 years. Bruce caught the bug via annual trips to Mexico. He got an import permit from the U.S.Department of Agriculture allowing him to import unusual tropicals as well as xerophyte plants.
He officially retired in 2009 after a 3 decade career as a CFP (certified financial planner). He then built an additional greenhouse and expanded his line of unusual and beautiful species. One house is for tropicals including over 30 varieties of Philodendrons as well as 5 species of Staghorns. His second house is filled with cacti and succulents, primarily from Africa and Madagascar. He knows many growers from Southern California that provide him with high quality materials as well.
