Howl and Whistle Flower Farm

Howl & Whistle Melissa La Dolce VitaHowl and Whistle Flower Farm, run by Melissa Garcia Parry, is based on 5 acres in the OlallaValley southwest of Winston, Oregon in the foothills of the Coastal Range. Our funky mountain
climate often means my seasons can be very different from other PNW growers. I love growing
spring and fall flowers, playing with season extension and working with our unpredictable
weather. I grow as sustainably as possible, using organic methods and relying on great manure
from our herd of goats. Howl and Whistle started in 2015 as an urban micro farm in Eugene
based on my general love of growing things and being outside with my dogs. In 2018, needing
more room for more flowers we moved to our current rustic location. My farm is still small-scale,
mostly run by myself and continues to be based on a general love of growing things and being
outside with my dogs.
